Job Summary

The Student Office Assistant, Scholarly Innovation & Student Research assists with various clerical duties as needed.

Job Description

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

  • Greets visitors and provides information.
  • Answers basic general questions and route visitors to the appropriate department.
  • Answers phones and routes calls.
  • Small assigned projects as needed.
  • Prepares event flyers using Canva or similar
  • Assists the office with social media campaigns (this may include designing and posting flyers, conducting interviews, taking photos, etc.)

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled as a degree-seeking student at Florida Gulf Coast University at the time of hire and throughout the appointment.
  • Experience operating a computer and proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Social media and video editing experience preferred
