To access the job portal through Workday and apply for open positions, please follow these simple steps:

Log in to Workday.
Click on the 'Menu' icon.
Select 'Careers' icon. 
Select 'Browse Jobs'.
The Career Sites page will display the current open positions for your review and application.

The easiest way to check the status of an application is to log in to Workday. You can review each employment application submitted and see the status. 

All employment applications must be submitted by the close date (if applicable) on the posting.  If you are having technical issues, please call Human Resources at 239-590-1400 for troubleshooting assistance.

 No.  Once a position closes, no additional applications are accepted.

 As you may know, FGCU is a vibrant and growing institution that attracts many highly qualified candidates.  If you are selected to move forward in the process, you will be contacted directly by the department. Changes to your personal information, such as your name, email address, phone number, and home address can be made in your applicant account, under ‘Update Profile’. Contact HR@fgcu.edu for other changes to your application, such as submitting a revised cover letter or resume to request to delete your application.

Changes to your application materials must be made before the close date of the posted job.

The timeline for the hiring process can vary significantly depending on several factors, including the number of applicants, departmental schedules, and the urgency of the position. 

We recommend checking your application status periodically for updates. To do so, please log in to the applicant portal using your email address and password. Once logged in, you can view the “Current Status” under the job information section of your application.

You can reset your password by clicking on the “Forgotten your password?” link on the Sign In page of the applicant portal.  If you cannot remember the email address you used to create your profile, please e-mail HR@fgcu.edu for assistance.

It's important to be aware that, in accordance with Florida's Sunshine laws, all documents related to the search process, including letters of application/nomination and references, may be subject to public viewing upon request.
