Job Description
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
- Signs student-athletes in and out of study hall.
- Monitors activities to ensure an academic focused environment.
- Maintains the public study areas in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Adheres to all NCAA and FGCU policies and procedures.
Other Duties:
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated commitment to academic integrity and desire to help student athletes succeed.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Student employees must have a minimum GPA 2.5 and be in good conduct standing with the University.
- Must be eligible to receive Federal Work-Study funds.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Promote a common purpose consistent with stated University goals and demonstrate a commitment to students and the learning environment.
- Possess the knowledge of general written standards and procedures utilized, and have the ability to read, interpret, and follow procedural and policy manual related to the job tasks.
- Demonstrate the ability to respond to supervision, guidance and direction in a positive, receptive manner and in accordance with stated policies.
- Provide quality customer service by creating a welcoming and supportive environment.
- Present a professional image in word, action and attire.
- Apply effective techniques to create working relationships with others to achieve common goals; successfully communicates and collaborates with others to achieve goals.
- Demonstrate skills necessary to look at situations and processes critically to make recommendations for improvement.
